The Boyerstock Summer Music Camp is a day camp offering intensive study in the following ensembles: Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band and Chorus. Students will be immersed in learning the nuances and pedagogy in each discipline through direct performance within the ensembles. Each day will consist of intense instruction within each clinic. Our staff consists of our award winning directors and professionals.
Students will work with our camp director, Harvey Boyer, Karen McKenna, and our new clinician Corinne Bouchard and explore a wide range of repertoire. Our focus will be working together on tone production, breath support, and blend.
Our string students will explore orchestral music with our Gold winning director Erica Boyer.
The Jazz ensemble is the cornerstone of this program. Students will explore improvisation under the direction of Harvey Boyer. His ensembles have received many honors over his career including winning Gold with Distinction Honors, performing on WKZE, WDST, and at Lincoln Center.
